In 2003, Florence and her family wandered into the golden vastness of Tsavo East National Park; their very first safari. Red-dusted elephants moved quietly across the plains, lions basked beneath acacia shade, and something deep within them awakened. That single journey, filled with awe and childlike excitement, planted a seed they couldn’t ignore.
A few years later, Florence returned to the wild; this time guiding guests through Tsavo West as a Russian Translator and Cultural Liaison. Walking the land with travelers from different cultures, watching them light up as they met Kenya’s wildlife in its natural habitat, deepened her appreciation for the country’s landscapes and the profound connection people feel when they experience Kenya authentically.
Together with her husband, Bunting Smith, and beloved family friend Constance Andabwa, the couple transformed that passion into FABS Travel Adventures; a heartfelt promise to share Kenya in its truest, most breathtaking form.
